Streetscene Operations Supervisor Location : Tollgate Depot, Salisbury Salary: 29,093 per annum Hours : 37 hours per week, 5 out of 7 day rota, including weekends and bank holidays. An exciting opportunity has arisen for one someone to join Salisbury City Council's Environmental Service team as a Streetscene Operations Supervisor. Do you have experience in maintenance and managing a team, have a passion to contribute to the community, by providing a service which improves the appearance of our City benefiting the lives of residents and visitors, if so, this position could be for you! Please note; you must have a Full UK Driving License to apply About the role: To oversee the operational management of the Streetscene team, delivering a high standard service. To effectively manage the Salisbury City Council Depot alongside the Grounds Supervisor. Ensure the effective ongoing maintenance and replacement of Council vehicles, plant and equipment Oversee compliance with the legislative and best practice requirements of waste control systems. About you: Experienced in depot and mechanical equipment/vehicle operation and maintenance. Have a proven track record of team management and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in accurate asset information. Must enjoy a job that involves office work and working in all weather conditions. Waste Management & Transfer knowledge, either holder of or a willingness to complete CIWM (WAMITAB) Waste Management Level 4 Certification within 12 months of employment. Good knowledge of Health & Safety, able to review and write risk assessments for Streetsceme operations.
