They are committed to growing and continually developing its Property and Casualty proposition across the UK, specifically in the midmarket segment.Due to this, they are therefore seeking an experienced property & casualty underwriter to join their underwriting division team inLeeds. The Role/Team: In this role, you will be dealing with property and casualty policies across the midmarket sector and ideallylooking for someone who is focused winning on New Business, however if you are more renewal focused that wont be a problem.The business has a diverse appetite so can write risks as either combined product or singular with premiums ranging from 25k up 250k along with some more complex cases as well. You will be part of an team that has a mixture of experience so will have the opportunity to learn from your peers as well as well as provide support to your colleagues on referrals.If you are a technical underwriter who also relishes the broker relationship management piece, this will particularly appeal to you. Required Skills/Experience: We are looking to speak to individuals who have experience within a similar role with an insurer or from a broker that has DUA. We will look at individuals who have experience working on commercial combined or a singular policy.
