Job Title: Employee Relations Advisor (Part-Time)Salary: Commencing at 34,347 with progression to 36,437 per annumClosing Date: 2025-04-06About the RoleWhat You Will DoProvide professional ER advice and support to managers and staff on policies, procedures, and best practices.Manage and support employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management, and workplace conflict resolutionEnsure compliance with employment legislation, education sector regulations, and organisational policiesSupport and coach managers in handling ER matters effectively and confidently.Conduct investigations, hearings, and mediation sessions where necessaryMaintain accurate records and documentation for all ER casesSupport change management processes, including restructures, TUPE transfers, and organisational development initiativeAbout YouCIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) or equivalent experienceStrong experience in managing a variety of ER cases, ideally within an education or public sector settingUp-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practicesExcellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skillsAbility to build strong relationships with managers, employees, and key stakeholdersProven ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with professionalism and discretionStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approachBenefitsThere are plenty of benefits available to our staff members, here are just a few:Generous Annual leave entitlement- If you work full time, you'll get at least 39 days holiday plus bank holidays.
