Central Employment are delighted to be working with a leading FMCG provider, as they look to recruit a Customer Account Executive, based in County Durham.Up to 27,000 DOEPeterlee, office based roleReporting into the Customer Service ManagerCustomer Account Executive profile: As part of a busy and mutually-supportive Customer Services team, the role is key to building and maintaining great customer relationships, handling new orders, queries and major projects.Key responsibilities of the Customer Account Executive:Respond to incoming contacts from customers via telephone, website and emailMaintain and further develop relationships with existing customersAccurately determine the order needs of customersLiaise with other departments including Accounts, Purchasing and Warehouse in relation to satisfying Customer Orders and handling queriesWork with team members to ensure all customer needs are coveredWork with external Sales staff to help process their quotations, orders and queriesUndertake products training as and when requiredProcess information via our computerised order processing and accounts systemCreate presentation documents in relation to orders/quotations using Microsoft Office programsMaintain accurate records of contact, project requirements and customer requirementsEssential/Knowledge/Experience: You will need to be a B2B Customer Services professional with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.Ideally, you are capable of working with minimal supervision as you will largely be responsible for your own workload management.You will also need to have excellent communications skills as you will be dealing with customers at all levels of organisation size and sophistication.The role involves processing a lot of detailed information and each project will be different, so you will need to be adaptable and capable of retaining knowledge.
