The Role This role combines technical knowledge, mentoring, and relationship-building to foster the growth and success of ICEs membership base. Duties and ResponsibilitiesProactively implement initiatives to attract and retain a diverse membership, including technicians and apprentices.Organise and deliver activities to promote ICE membership to new audiences.Offer one-on-one and group guidance to members and non-members on their professional qualification journey, both online and in-person.Build strong relationships with employers, offering advice on professional development and mentoring programs.Strengthen links with colleges and universities to inspire future civil engineers.Work closely with other MDOs to ensure consistency and share best practices.Ensure ICE membership databases are accurate and up to date. What we are looking for Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, training, or professional development. Professional qualification (EngTech, IEng, or CEng) is desirable, but not essential.Able to engage with diverse audiences, from aspiring engineers to senior industry professionals, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.Proficient in MS Office applications, with the ability to transform technical content into clear, non-technical outputs.Ready to work occasional evenings and travel as required, with a valid drivers license and access to a car (car allowance provided).Committed to Excellence: Passionate about advancing the engineering profession and delivering exceptional support to members.
