Im delighted to be supporting my client, a successful global logistics firm, with their search for a Key Account Director.As the Key Account Director you will be responsible for creating, growing and managing relationships with high value accounts in the Energy sector, identifying and initiating growth opportunities.Candidates with freight/logistics Key Account management experience, dealing with global key accounts in the Energy/Oil and Gas sector are encouraged to apply.Duties & Responsibilities:Develop new business in the energy marketIdentify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streamsDevelop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the companyWork closely with local, regional and international operations staff to ensure customers needs and expectations are metPresent an array of logistics solutions that enable numerous entry points into accountsSupport and consulting of existing customers as well as further development of accountsConducting sales and contract negotiation meetingsPreparation of commercial documentation including bids, tenders and pricingPlanning; organization and execution of customer visitsImplementation of regular review meetingsEnsuring communication between Sales/Customer Service, Operations and to ManagementThe ideal candidate:Proven track record of leading growth in the freight / logistics / energy sector5-10 years commercial development experience in the freight / logistics industryTrack record of developing high value / global key accountsCompetitive and confident personality with strongly developed persuasive and negotiation skills.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues.Demonstrates considerable judgment in selecting methodsSelf-motivated individual experienced in making and implementing decision.competitive and confident personality with strongly developed persuasive and negotiation skills.Strong presentation skills and effective follow-up skillsStrong customer and service orientationFlexibility, Resilience and willingness to change
