Repairs ManagerLocation: East Midlands/Northern home counties (4 days on-site)Contract Length: 3 months +Day Rate: CompetitiveWe are looking for a dynamic Repairs Manager to join the team at a Housing Association and lead their repairs and maintenance operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to delivering safe, high-quality services while ensuring the best value for money for residents.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the operational delivery of repairs and maintenance services.Ensure a safe, compliant, and high-quality repair service across properties.Manage KPIs, SLAs, and departmental budgets to meet targets and improve performance.Support the Assistant Director of Repairs in implementing the business plan.Promote a safety-first approach, adhering to health and safety standards.Provide leadership and mentorship to your team, ensuring a positive, customer-focused culture.Manage external suppliers, including contractors, to ensure the best quality of service and value for money.Contribute to strategic planning, reporting to management, and improving service delivery.What we are looking for:Proven experience in managing high-volume residential repairs and property maintenance contracts.Strong leadership and team management skills, including coaching and development.A track record of managing health and safety across teams and operations.Budget management experience, including overseeing budgets of 2M+ per annum.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.A customer-focused approach, always striving for excellence and continuous improvement.Qualifications:Degree-level education or relevant sector/industry experience.IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification (essential).Valid CSCS card (relevant manager grade).Full valid driving licence (required).
