These partnerships have enabled the Group to bring compelling experiences that leave lasting memories to millions of visitors in more than 60 cities to date globally.For more information, please visit www.neonglobal.com.Job Functions & Principal DutiesFacilitates communication between Production, Operations and Creative during the development and implementation of all assigned projectsResponsible for installation and maintenance of Show Control systems.Maintains project liaison status to communicate scheduling of timelines, guest impact, site visits, and additional department project involvementManages the Production teams and vendors in the upgrade of existing shows and attractionsManages new installations and renovations of entertainment related scenic or technological elements in exhibitions, shows and attractionsDevelops install, implementation, and strike schedules for combined in-house and contracted services with deadline accountabilityMaintains a flow of purchasing by monitoring issuances of purchase orders, collection of vendor clearance paperwork and proper invoicingProvides a high level of professional expertise in the areas of technical stagecraft, theatrical rigging, special effects, lighting, scenery, props, and technical designCollaborates with the Creative Department during the creation, design and installation of shows and eventsEnsures that our operation is compliant with corporate safety industry standards as well as federal, state and or local statutes related to safety and the environmentAssists with scope development, budget creation, bid process, vendor selection, equipment purchase, and installation supervisionDesigns review of lighting, audio, video, special effects, safety rigging and show control systemsSupervises labor hours for specific work units from 20 to 80 hours per week based on project needsSupervises and maintains cleanliness and safety standards of all equipment and infrastructure as it relates to the project installOccasionally assists other locations / areas throughout the world as needed and performs other duties as assignedEnthusiastically represents VHE by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the jobRequired Skills. Knowledge, Education and Training:Must have a minimum of five years experience supervising the following live event productions: technical theater operations, concert, and festival and/or event productionMust have a minimum of two years experience supervising live, technical theater operationsShow Control Operations and MaintenanceMust have thorough knowledge of technical theater including rigging, theater safety, audio, lighting, video and digital media, special effects, theatrical scenery and all other elements of stagecraft.Must possess excellent written and oral communication skillsMust have computer skills including MS Word, ExcelMust be able to occasionally lift/move greater than 25 pounds (but less than 50) unassistedMust be able to handle multiple tasks and work on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environmentMust have strong leadership abilities and skills in planning, organization, implementation and follow throughFour year college degree in Theater or related discipline preferredAutoCAD drafting experience preferred
