As part of our esteemed team, you will have the opportunity to play an instrumental role in managing a substantial portfolio of private equity limited partnerships, supporting the identification and management of global fund-of-fund investments. This is an exciting opportunity for an investment professional with a solid track record in financial analysis, strong communication skills, and a passion for the private equity sector.Key Responsibilities:Identification and EvaluationCollaborate with general partner groups to evaluate investment opportunities.Conduct thorough market research to assess potential investments.Source and manage deal flow, performing comprehensive due diligence on venture capital and buyout funds.ExecutionLead detailed due diligence efforts, identifying key investment merits through qualitative and quantitative analysis, meetings with fund managers, strategy reviews, reference checks, and on-site visits.Prepare detailed investment memorandums and actively participate in investment discussions with the internal investment committee.Work closely with legal counsel to negotiate partnership terms and oversee the closing process.Identify and generate opportunities for general partner co-investments and secondary investments.MonitoringAttend annual meetings and serve on advisory boards to stay informed on portfolio developments.Review quarterly reports and other materials, ensuring compliance with investment guidelines.Assist with the construction and ongoing evaluation of fund portfolios.Report on the status of existing investments to the global investment team.Business SupportContribute to the firms marketing efforts, delivering presentations to potential clients and consultants.Market the firms capabilities to potential sellers, generating secondary deal flow.Support existing client requests and contribute to the achievement of firm-wide business objectives.Play an active role in enhancing the firms culture and thought leadership.Required Skills & Qualifications:We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and global environment. The ideal candidate will bring:At least 7 years of experience in fund investing, with a strong background in fund-of-funds analysis and due diligence (private equity experience preferred).Expertise in fund-of-funds investments and the private equity sector, with a strong understanding of both venture capital and buyout trends.Exceptional analytical, modeling, and organizational skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.A professional presence with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general partners, and colleagues at all levels.A proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious business and personal goals.A deep passion for private equity partnership investing and a commitment to building a long-term career in this field.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively challenge and assess critical investment variables.Intellectual curiosity, with a demonstrated ability to contribute to thought leadership and forward-thinking strategies.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
