Our client is looking for someone who has experience working in either the hospitality or residential building sector. This role is based in the London area and is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing real estate company. This is a full-time permanent role. You must be prepared to work 40 hours / Monday - Friday 8 am 5 pm with 1 hour paid lunch.The important part!Salary cira 38,000 per annum 10 % PLUS discretionary bonusFree gym membershipCycle to work schemePenson / Life assurance schemeHoliday flex schemeSeason ticket travel loanCompany rewardsPrivate & HealthcareKey Responsibilities:Providing high-standard repairs on maintenance tasksCarry out Painting, Decorating and minor plastering when requiredShifting / Assembling furniture or equipmentStandard plumbing tasks and clearing blockagesCarry out minor Fabric and Carpentry workPerform daily checks for Water treatment and flushing activitiesIdentify and diagnose faults and carry out repairs, adjustments and other maintenance works as appropriateCarry out the required routine repairs or adjustments of plant or machinery in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule as tasked by the Control coordinatorAdopt a flexible approach in respect of other skills or trades to ensure the most cost-effective completion of all tasksUndertake other skilled tasks in which competence has been demonstratedRecord data using the supplied documentationAssist in ensuring that all working areas are kept clean and tidy, and all refuse and waste materials are removed as appropriateThoroughly familiar and comply with the Companys Health & Safety policy and procedures and to immediately report any hazards or infringements to the Services ManagerAction and complete time/task sheets on a daily basis in accordance with agreed proceduresAssist in the supervision of sub-contractors as appropriateUndertake other reasonable duties as requested by line ManagementEnsuring that our client's residents enjoy a safe, fully functioning and well-maintained place to liveInspecting and diagnosing faults and repairsCarrying out minor repairsEnsuring the overall appearance of building(s), grounds and equipment through regular maintenance and decorationCarrying out weekly, monthly and annual PPMPerson Specification:Demonstrate experience in a similar role, undertaking repairs and maintenance, ideally in a residential environment along with a relevant multi-skilled trade background (e.g. building, plumbing, electric or carpentry)A qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering or plumbing (i.e. NVQ, City Guilds or similar) would be ideal but not essentialKnowledge in all route maintenance building, procedures and practices in painting and repairsBuilding maintenance experience in a residential environment or hospitalityAble to work effectively with people at all levels and is capable of dealing with contentious and challenging situationsPackage: A competitive salary of 38K+ with benefits is on offerDue to the volume of applications anticipated for this role, should you not have a response from us in 14 days, please assume that your application has not been successful on this occasion.
