Senior Quantity Surveyor- Near Darlington, County DurhamWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for one of our key clients in the construction industry. This reputable consultancy firm specialises in design and engineering services across various sectors, including aviation, defence, and public infrastructure. Established over 60 years, they operate a network of offices throughout Europe. They are committed to delivering sustainable, innovative solutions, shaping a healthier, sustainable, and safer world.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procuring equipment, contracts, subcontracts, and services for the company's projects. Experience in both M&E and Process Engineering Construction packages is essential for this role. Responsibilities:Procure equipment, contracts, subcontracts, and services for company projectsWork closely with project teams and customers to deliver high-quality service and meet their requirementsDevelop repeat business through exceptional service deliveryReview main contracts and provide advice to project teamsProvide cost and commercial reportingExperience with NEC4 contracts is requiredPCM experience is preferableAbility to travel to client sites; driving is a mustQualifications:Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in a similar roleStrong knowledge of construction industry practices and proceduresProven track record of delivering high-quality service to clientsMember of the Royal Institute of Chartered SurveyorsBenefits25 days annual leave plus ability to buy additional leaveUp to 6% matched contributory pension planLife assurance schemeCompany car or cash allowanceDiscount scheme (including gym membership, mobile phones etc)Flexible/ hybrid workingIf you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the construction industry, we encourage you to apply by sending your CV to richard.brock@energipeople.com
