Our client supports a wide array of sectors and due to unprecedented growth and company development, they are looking for an experienced mechanic to support an expanding fleet of vehicles.The organisation has a current turnover of 5M and this is set to rise through a combination of market forces, reputation and future strategic plans. The organisation has a long-standing history and the business can provide stability, yet the opportunity to be part of a growth journey.THE ROLEPerform routine maintenance and repairs on Company fleet vehicles, cars and light commercial vehiclesDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issuesConduct vehicle health checks and identify any necessary repairs or replacementsMOT preparationComplete service and repairs in a timely mannerWork alongside their current mechanic and mentor/coach apprentice as necessaryTHE PERSONYou will be a time-served mechanic with experience of a broad range of vehiclesNVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred, however, a number of years experience is essential.Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitudeAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issuesBody shop experience is desirable but not essentialDetail orientated with excellent problem-solving skillsA comprehensive understanding of, and commitment to the highest standards of Health & Safety in the workplaceAll employees must hold a valid UK driving licence, will be over 21 years old and subject to reference checksTO APPLYPlease apply for your position and your CV will go direct to our Engineering Consultant Harry Mann who is leading the search.
