Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician Install, repair and maintain all machines, tools, fixtures and equipment. Prepare work instructions for all manufacturing process equipment. Sort and consolidate waste materials including hazardous materials and waste. Coordinate and prioritise work schedules and assignments. Continuous Process Improvement. Troubleshoot machinery breakdowns and repair or replace. Plan, purchase supplies and install electrical service for new and/or relocated production machinery. Calibrate tools, fixtures and equipment. Requirements for a successful Maintenance Technician ONC/HNC in Engineering discipline or equivalent with experience repairing and maintaining process machinery. 5+ years of equipment and building maintenance experience. COSHH certified. Experience working with and handling hazardous waste. Experience preparing work instructions. Strong IT skills with experience using Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills.
