As a Safety Equipment supervisor, you will ensure the delivery of an essential service and ensure that stocks of serviceable AEA and Survival Equipment are made available to aircrew . This is an interesting and varied role supporting the business by providing maintenance support and repair ability across Survival Equipment (SE) and AEA Support Services My client has ambitious plans and is therefore looking to recruit great talent to join their growing business that operates across the UK. As a Safety Equipment Supervisor, you will possess a desire to contribute to the success and growth of their business. What youll be doing: Ensuring that all AEA supplied is the correct size and fit for service use Safeguarding that Aircrew/Student are issued with the correct scale of serviceable AEA in a timely manner prior to them commencing their flying training Ensuring that all items of AEA/SE issued are recorded on an AEA/SE issue pro-forma, signed, and dated by the recipient Preparing a maintenance plan for periodic cycles to maximize the availability of serviceable AEA & SE items Ensuring sufficient stocks of serviceable/compliant drill equipment, AEA/SE is made available to allow for both dry and wet drill training Make certain that the upkeep, maintenance, and safe custody of all AEA & SE Documentation are completed, legibly and correctly in accordance with the current procedures Confirming the maintenance, rectification, and modification of AEA. What were looking for: At least 5 years experience of working in an SE/AEA Supervisory role A demonstrable track record of working in an operational AEA maintenance section Detailed knowledge of AEA and SE Knowledge and application of maintenance methods on AEA and SE Ability to fault find and carry out diagnostics on both AEA and SE.
