This DAM system functions as the client's commercial digital image library management system, managing a diverse range of assets including publications, guidebooks, academic catalogues, digital files, colour transparencies and negatives of photographs, drawings, watercolours, and prints.Responsibilities of the Business Analyst (Digital Asset Management):This dynamic and impactful position will join the organisation at a particularly exciting time, following their recent transition to a cloud-based DAM system. The successful candidate will be responsible for:Defining the metadata schema for asset tagging, including creating a thesaurus of approved terms for metadata tagging and exploring automation solutions.Conducting a comprehensive audit of all digital assets across the organisation, with the goal of centralising them into a single, cloud-based DAMS repository.Collaborating with the DAM system provider to configure the new cloud-based DAM environment, implementing system workflows and conducting UAT on all upgrades.Supporting the integration of the new cloud-based DAMS with existing systems and archives, providing ongoing system support, guidance and handling user queries.Delivering training to internal and external users across the organisation, ensuring the correct processing and use of digital assets.Requirements of the Business Analyst (Digital Asset Management):To be successful in the role, we're seeking an experienced candidate who can demonstrate the following:Strong analytical expertise with a proven ability to conduct comprehensive audits of complex digital asset landscapesA solid Business Analyst background, including strong technical knowledge and the ability to configure systems, implement system workflows and conduct UATProficiency in data management, including designing and implementing metadata schemasExceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and navigate diverse organisational needs.Experience in delivering effective training to system usersNice to have: digital asset management projects and/or heritage organisationsThe salary is up to 40,000-44,000, complemented by an extensive benefits package.
