An exciting time to join this high profile company in Reading who are looking for an Environment & Sustainability Manager to ensure they operate responsibly while achieving environmental goals and commercial growth.This is a newly created position with the direction of reducing carbon and emissions along with implementing ISO41001.Great benefits on offer to include a very generous holiday allowance of 30 plus days.The role requires a combination of strategic vision, technical expertise, and strong communications skills to drive and implement sustainable practices.The role involves development and implementation of Sustainable Policies supporting the overall ESG Strategy, the organisational and customer NET Zero commitments and preparing for and planning for adapting to the impacts of climate change, reducing vulnerabilities to secure longer term sustainability.Ensure as the ISO14001 Environmental Representative; Environmental risks and opportunities are addressed and ensure compliance with the standard with the Integrated Management System framework.Experience Experience in the implementation or management of ISO 14001 Management SystemExperience in planning and delivery of sustainable goals ideally in a Telecommunications or Construction IndustryExperience of influencing sustainable practices through the supply chainQualificationsIEMA Diploma is sustainable business practice or NEBOSH National Diploma in Environmental ManagementDesirable ISO 14001 AuditorExperience in Cultural growth, training and awareness
