Our commitment to excellence in imaging performance, innovative design, and uncompromising quality ensures our solutions consistently deliver best-in-class imaging, high reliability, and operator satisfaction.Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our UK-based HR team, supporting Rapiscan Detection across the EMEA region. This role plays a vital part in providing comprehensive HR advice, guidance, and support to both managers and employees, ensuring effective people management across our UK sites. The role will have a strong focus on employee relations (ER) while also offering the opportunity to support strategic HR projects and oversee the HR Administrator. This position reports to the Senior HR Business Partner (Senior HRBP).Role Responsibilities:Act as the first point of contact for employees seeking HR advice via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.Support the HR Administrator(s) in managing onboarding and offboarding, personnel files, employee changes, and other HR documentation.Oversee and support the HR Assistant(s) in managing the HR inbox and responding to queries efficiently.Collaborate with the Payroll team to streamline operations and improve efficiencies.Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement and well-being strategies.Provide guidance and support to managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management cases, escalating complex cases to the Senior HRBP when necessary.Monitor monthly sickness absence reports, supporting managers with formal sickness absence review meetings and long-term sickness case management (including occupational health referrals).Ensure accurate and timely documentation of ER activities, including meeting notes, meeting invites, outcome letters, and hearing packs.Maintain and update the HR casework database, providing monthly reports to the Senior HR Business Partner.Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation.Support the Senior HRBP with developing and delivering HR workshops to build leadership capabilities.Arrange and deliver the company induction program with the HR Assistant.Conduct exit interviews, identifying trends to improve retention and engagement.Support HR project work in key areas such as acquisitions, TUPE transfers, redundancies, and restructures.Assist in the annual salary review and employee survey initiatives.Provide cover and support in the absence of the Senior HRBP.Assist the Talent Acquisition team by supporting managers with recruitment processes and ensuring a positive candidate experience.Provide HR reports on key metrics such as turnover, absence, and employee engagement.Support the Apprenticeship programmes, ensuring effective engagement and development opportunities.Essential Qualifications and Skills:Generalist HR experience, ideally in an advisory role (minimum 2 years).Strong experience in employee relations, including long-term sickness absence management.Sound employment law knowledge with experience in advising managers.Experience in working with an HRIS (HR Information System).Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload.Strong relationship-building skills across various levels of the organization.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Experience in providing both remote and face-to-face HR support.Willingness to travel to business sites when required (not frequent).Desirable Qualifications and Skills:HR experience within the EMEA region.CIPD Level 5 qualification
