Hours: Full-time role of 35 Hours per week As a Church Advocacy Specialist , you will manage a portfolio of church partners, building relationships and coordinating Church Advocacy Speakers to effectively present Compassions work. Your responsibilities include securing speaking engagements, selecting suitable speakers, ensuring resource delivery, and conducting post-event follow ups. The ultimate goal is to increase volunteer speaking engagements, leading to more children being released from poverty in Jesus name. Key Responsibilities Identify and agree on opportunities for church partnership engagement. Identify and agree most suitable Church Advocacy Speaker for church engagements. Participate fully in the Compassion UK and team culture, including development. Collaborate with the wider Partnerships Team to ensure the effectiveness of system processes and the maintenance of internal communication. Actively maintain and promote Compassion UKs Christian ethos and values. The successful candidate will have the following skills: Proven success in target-driven sales , demonstrating the ability to meet and exceed performance goals. Skilled in making outbound calls , confidently engaging stakeholders to drive meaningful connections. Strong listening and persuasive communication skills , effectively building relationships and influencing outcomes. Active and attentive listener , ensuring clear understanding and effective responses in conversations. Highly organised with strong workload management , able to plan effectively to maximize efficiency. Data-driven decision-maker , analyzing insights to inform strategy and improve results. In-depth understanding of UK churches , their structures, operations, and denominational differences. Fluent in English, with strong written and numerical skills , ensuring accuracy and clarity in communication. It would be beneficial (although not mandatory) to possess: Experience of using a CRM solution . Experience working with volunteers. Experience of coaching individuals.
