Job Description

Contract: Fixed-term contract - 9 months Location: Hybrid (Head Office: Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne) This is a hybrid working role, so youll need to be able to work from our Head Office once a month. Candidates will also be expected to carry out in-house training at Head Office for a total of 5 days at the start of their contract. Hours per week: 37 Salary: Up to 30,000, depending on experience About the role Were excited to be recruiting for Product Assurance Officers to join our Product Assurance team. In this role youll be responsible for setting up and testing qualifications on NCFE systems to ensure they are accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose for our customers. This involves extensive data entry and proofreading tasks so a keen eye and high attention to detail skills are essential. Youll be involved with the proofreading and quality checks of qualification and supporting documents against templates and style guides to ensure they are free from spelling and grammatical errors. Advanced Word and editing skills and a good knowledge of English are also important in this role as you will need to ensure formatting and grammar is correct and consistent within documents. How youll make an impact: Leading the implementation and monitoring of robust quality assurance procedures relating to the end-to-end product life cycle to ensure products released into the public domain are fit for purpose and compliant with stakeholder and regulatory requirements Leading on the proofreading and sign off assessments, materials and resources to ensure they are accurate, understandable and usable for our stakeholders Collaborating with internal stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure products remain fit for purpose Responsible for developing communication to customers and staff and maintaining accurate qualification information on the database and website.
