Contract: Full time, 40hours per week. Reports to: Education Manager. Here at Care 2 Succeed we provide education to our service users in our childrens homes, supported living and family assessment provisions. Teaching is on a one-to-one basis utilising individualised learning materials and in the moment planning. The Role The role requires someone who can plan and deliver individualised learning packages inclusive of, but not limited to maths and English, ESOL and other short courses and vocational taster programmes to service users in their place of residence. It needs someone who is happy to work across our services and drive between provisions daily (South Yorkshire, the Midlands, Derbyshire and the Northwest) therefore the individual must have a full driving licence with use of own vehicle and business insurance. It is essential the candidate holds a recognised teaching qualification and ha s experience of delivering maths and/or English up to level 2 and have worked with learners with high needs. They must be self-motivated, have a clear desire to see people succeed and the tenacity, determination and flexibility required to help them. The role dictates that the individual has strong communication skills and the ability to form effective relationships with learners, colleagues and external professionals . A flexible, creative approach to teaching is vital and the ability to adapt to individual learner needs is essential. It would be desirable if they have experience working in social care, or with looked - after children and an ESOL or TEFL qualification would be advantageous . Your work will not only help build their academic abilities but also encourage personal growth through life skills and employability training. This role is based in Rotherham (S63) base and travelling to South Yorkshire, Midlands, Derbyshire, Northwest.
