Role Overview: Location: Farnborough, Hampshire Position: Learning Support Assistant Hours: 8:30am-3:00pm (term time only) Type: Full-time Pay: Minimum 85 per day, depending on experience Start Date: February 2025 End Date: Ongoing Contract Type: Temporary Responsibilities: Provide learning support to pupils, working both in groups and on a 1:1 basis. Collaborate with other support and education staff. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) or those with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Manage challenging behaviour effectively and positively. Requirements: Relevant experience in a school or similar setting. Experience working with children and young people with SEN or social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively. Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but training can be provided). Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK. Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
