We are looking for an Outbound Performance Lead to form a critical piece of the Performance team Senior Leadership Team, with the primary functions of the role being to produce measurable, continuous improvement to the Performance agenda, supporting the network to improve & develop our compliance & service delivery across the board. You will be accountable for: Supporting the network to improve & develop our network compliance & loss/claims spend across the board at both a day to day level & strategic level. Travelling across the UK & being physically present on sites, working with the management/leadership teams on their action plans and holding an action plan for every location, working alongside other departments and representing the full Performance umbrella's agenda. Executing a transformational inbound/outbound strategy, with a direct & targeted focus on developing the network's end to end capability. Managing a small team & holding responsibility for supporting the network through a combination of analytics development, gap identification and improved network visibility to focus our efforts on network compliance & service delivery across the board. This includes leadership of various network IT infrastructure projects & programmes that support Performance. Leading & managing programmes that develop live network Performance with a view towards a finger on the pulse control room approach that drives operational agility with live parcel recovery. Leading the Performance team as a senior leader to maintain daily, weekly and monthly routines and tools with operations including action logging, operational performance forums/exec summaries, weekly and monthly reviews and other activity required to guide network Performance. Supporting the Performance Service and Loss agenda & find effective, innovative ways to substantially reduce the network claims bill within your area particularly around live parcel management & visibility of live risk. Ensuring that daily, weekly, monthly, and annual plans to improve all Watchtower metrics are put in place across the network to cover multiple requirements in line with various KPIs & performance frameworks, as well as deal with day-to-day service-related queries from a multitude of stakeholders. Leading the network with regular reviews & progress updates, as well as keep live action logging procedures in place that hold operations accountable for the performance of their areas. Offering strategic insight to highlight areas of significant Service opportunity, providing a combination of flow optimisation recommendations, management information & BI, cost analytics, and project proposals. To be successful in this role you will require the following An understanding of changing trends and technologies, therefore evidence of continuous learning would be preferred Experience of change management in an FMCG logistics environment. Experience of project management tools and methodologies would be an advantage. Communication Skills: Confident in presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels both written and verbally including communication of complex ideas. Ability to meet people at their level and engage all layers of the operation. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills that allow you to quickly translate data into actionable decisions and plans. Critical Thinking: Be able to identify network gaps, thoroughly understand the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings Attention to Detail: An ability to effectively manage high volumes of information and conflicting priorities, whilst still maintaining meticulous attention to detail IT Skills: The ability to maintain multiple IT based tools to support the Loss & Claims agenda, including operations systems, project management tools and use of excel. Able to influence a number of stakeholders (internal) at differing levels.
