Role: Weapons Integration EngineerContracting authority: Central GovernmentContract: until March 2026Location: Bristol, 2 days a week on siteIR35: InsideRate to intermediary: Market RateClearance: SC requestedRESPONSIBILITIESManage the engineering aspects for the aircraft for integration of the weapon system, including managing the acquisition safety aspects.Provide expert advice and guidance in own technical area to solve complex technical problems and identify application risks.Monitor and implement governance and assurance, policies and procedures to ensure the safe & professional status of the area led.SKILLS/EXPERIENCELead on the development of requirements related to own area of specialism including acceptance plans, performance criteria and draft specifications.Interface with industry and ATEC (as UK trials lead) in a scrutiny role and supporting the identification of application risk through the procurement and integration of the weapon system.Manage technical system integration and analyse evidence provided for weapon integration assurance (including any software management).Ensure that own Airworthiness Information Management practices are in line with document retention and records requirement.
