The HR Advisor will be responsible for fostering a positive culture and supporting the HR & management teams to create an environment in which all employees are able to thrive.HR AdvisorJob DescriptionCoaching managers through the full employment life cycle to maximise performance and adherence to processSupporting managers with all ER matters; including grievances, disciplinary matters, redundancies, and absence management cases, whilst ensuring any legal or other risks are mitigatedMaintaining coherent employee relations case files adhering to legal requirementsMaintaining employee relations case tracker and carry out weekly reporting on case progressSupporting managers in the management of short-term absence and long-term absence including home visitsSupporting line managers with arranging Occupational Health referrals and implementing the necessary adjustmentsManaging the recruitment process, from preparation of the approval form and job descriptions, advertising on Linkedln and with recruitment agencies, assisting with the day-to-day contact with recruitment agencies, shortlisting of all applications, to preparing and conducting interviews and tests where necessaryMaintaining a coherent Recruitment Tracker of all roles, and the role statusBuild and manage relationships with recruitment partnersSupporting Finance with the compilation of the monthly headcount reportManaging the new joiner process from offer stage through to joining instructions, induction and probationary period completionSupporting line managers with the arrangement staff training and developmentOwn Apprenticeship Recruitment, liaising with our Apprenticeship provider, liaising with managers to understand requirements, holding assessment centres, through to offer and on boardingSupport with projects across the business including ensuring compliance with auditsSupport the HR Assistant with any queries, payroll support & delegating any work necessaryEnsuring relationships with all stakeholders are maintained to a high standard, providing regular updates on any issues and support where necessarySupporting with any ad hoc queriesSupporting with communications to the business via email & on siteHR AdvisorEssential Qualifications / Experience / SkillsBachelors Degree or equivalent, CIPD Level 5 desiredProven HR experience at Advisor level, ideally within a manufacturing environment Strong experience of managing employee relations casesExposure to all aspects of the employment lifeSkilled in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookStrong verbal and written communication skills
