We are currently looking for an early career air quality consultant to specifically assist with climate change assessments, dust and air quality impact assessments, ADMS Roads and ADMS point source modelling to support planning applications. Applicants should ideally already have some consultancy experience, but newly qualified candidates will also be considered.We are a small, independent, employee-owned environmental consultancy firm based in Oxfordshire that specialises in dust and air quality monitoring, consultancy and assessment. A key part of your role will be supporting the delivery of assessments using a range of predictive models, and your work will mainly be desk-based. Site work may be required occasionally to meet our clients and to advise on their industries and operations. Our work ranges from one-off assessments to complex on-going expert witness cases. Support work includes assisting in project management, preparing quotes, and management of routine data collection and analysis. You may be required to assist in other areas of the business as required, such as helping with laboratory analytical work including optical microscopy. Role Requirements:Education and ExperienceA level maths or equivalent is required. A relevant degree (minimum 2:1 BSc/BEng or MSc), such as Environmental Science, Geography, Meteorology etc.Preferably 1-2 years previous consultancy work experience (relevant placements and internships will be considered)Language and Technical SkillsGood command of written and spoken English and have a high standard of report writingProficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel applicationsPreferably experience carrying out complex data routines, using GIS software and an understanding of air quality dispersion modelling using ADMS Roads.
