Of course there's the web app which has onboarding journeys, a dashboard and all the elements you'd expect of a digital service. Then behind the scenes there are a whole set of capabilities we've built that allow us to efficiently operate and iterate the service - saving users time and money. These capabilities include things like multimodal GenAI data extraction, recommendation engines, notification systems (and many more). We then combine these capabilities into processes to do things like switch someone to a better energy provider which we orchestrate using executable workflows.As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and services. We have a small, very high context product management team and as we grow, adding the right next person to the team is critical.We're a startup, so the exact mix of work will always be changing. The main components will likely a combination of:Strategy: Collaborate across leadership, engineering, operations, design, and commercial functions to help build a product strategy and roadmap to achieve our objectives, and use product insights to inform our company strategy and priorities.Roadmap: Define clear product requirements and prioritise feature development based on business objectives, user needs, and technical feasibility. Work closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.Vision vs the next version: Be great at both thinking through the vision of a product/feature as well as defining what should be build nowProblem solving: Go deep into problems where needed to identify potential solutions and clearly communicate options and trade-offs.Drive execution: Push projects forward, identifying and removing blockers and help maintain a high velocity product and engineering functionAnalytics: Establish and track key performance metrics to assess the success of product initiatives. Utilise data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimise product performance.Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with engineering, design, marketing, and other teams to align product development efforts and drive successful releases. Communicate product updates and roadmap progress to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.Evangelism: Act as the advocate for your project/domain/product area. Conduct product demos, lead company-wide presentations, participate in industry events, and engage with customers to gather feedback and build strong relationships.About youThe ideal candidate will have:Seen what excellent Product Management looks likeExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisionsBe great at operating with a lot of complexity and ambiguity... but have a drive to simplify and clarifyExceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teamsAble to deploy different methods of thinking and communication depending on the problem at hand.
