They should utilise staff, contractors, and other available resources to ensure the highest quality of service is provided, in line with the requirements of any management contract, tenancy agreements, or service level agreements. Oversee and support the ongoing asset management routines of the development, ensuring contract, risk, and mobilisation management tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.Main Responsibilities as a Development ManagerMobilisationLiaise with clients, agents, new business teams, and employees.Ensure mobilisation tasks are completed and recorded accurately.Improve customer experience with efficient mobilisation.Delegate tasks as needed.Report on mobilisation stats and suggest improvements.Risk & PPM ManagementOversee risk and PPM compliance using systems and processes.Work with teams, contractors, and customers on risk management.Maintain a clear audit trail of actions and certifications.Report on compliance and implement improvements.Contract ManagementEnsure developments have appropriate contract schedules.Assist with contract tenders to ensure value for money.Maintain records and diarise follow-up actions.Team ManagementDrive team engagement and ensure service excellence.Manage holiday, absence, and coverage.Conduct quarterly 1-2-1s, appraisals, and performance reviews.Work with HR on payroll, recruitment, and grievances.Ensure mandatory and refresher training is completed.Customer ServiceAct as a brand ambassador with exceptional service.Answer calls and emails professionally.Address complaints and find resolutions.Embed customer service values in the team.Health & SafetyUse technology to streamline safety processes.Keep sites, residents, and workplaces safe.Track, inspect, and audit safety measures.Support colleagues physical and mental wellbeing.Financial ManagementSupport the team with financial oversight of developments.Be mindful of budgets and seek necessary information.For further information on this Development Manager apply belowWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
