The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and collaborating with multiple departments, including Commercial and Operations, to align business processes and strategies. This is a truly exciting role for a candidate who is adept at managing complexities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating problem-solving skills and adaptability. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise and business acumen to ensure that production capabilities meet or exceed demand forecasts. You will be responsible for:Developing and maintaining detailed schedules to meet operational demands by planning material and forecasted demand to meet budgetRaising sales orders and uploading into MRP after contract reviewRaising and issuing works orders as required by the delivery scheduleExpediting or deferring orders as required in line with schedule / inventory changes 5.Collaborating with department heads and team members to gather scheduling needs and prioritise tasks performing scenario planning when requiredMonitoring and adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in priorities, employee availability, and unforeseen circumstancesAnalysing scheduling data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Identify supply chain constraints and discrepancies between supply and demandPreparing and presenting forecast and inventory metrics to the Operations team Utilising scheduling software and tools to streamline the scheduling process and enhance communicationYou will have:Relevant experience in scheduling, planning, or a related roleProficiency in scheduling software and tools (ERP, Microsoft Office, FileMaker, etc)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and a commitment to accuracyThe package: Youll receive a very competitive salary ( offered depends on level of experience), an early Friday finish and other benefits including pension, life assurance and 25 days (plus bank holidays).
