The successful candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills to drive high-profile projects forward.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the design and analysis of bridges, railway structures, stations, depots, and highways.Oversee structural assessments, finite element analysis, and independent design reviews.Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.Ensure designs comply with Network Rail, Eurocodes, British Standards, AASHTO, and UIC regulations.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project success.Manage budgets, timelines, and project delivery to a high standard.Support business development through bid preparation and client engagement.Requirements: Chartered Engineer (CEng, MICE, or MIStructE) preferred. 10+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering, ideally in rail or infrastructure. Strong expertise in LUSAS, MIDAS, ABAQUS, or similar finite element analysis tools. Proven experience in managing teams and mentoring junior engineers.
