Job title: Material Planning AnalystLocation: Larne - Northern IrelandJob type: Contract 24 months - Inside IR35Working days: Monday to Thursday onsite and Friday's are offOur Client a Global manufacturing company are seeking a Material Planning Analyst for a contract position of 24 months in Larne in Northern Ireland.Role:As a Material Planning Analyst you will Schedule, plans and oversees material procurement, production and delivery processes. You will be involved in coordinating production and delivery schedules to meet current productivity. Responsibilities:You will be responsible for developing and executing material planning for a product line, ensuring all material requirements for assigned programs are met within the allocated time frame. Additionally, you will organize the flow of materials within the manufacturing unit and manage the transfer of materials to and from inventory or the warehouse. The role also includes generating forecasts and managing replenishment planning for parts and materials to maintain specified service levels.Experience As a Material Planner you will have experience in Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) and Materials Handling and Management.You should have sound knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.Transportation - MFG: Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centres, manufacturing facilities and customers.Experience in Material planning, SAP, Supply chain, BuyerWhats next?The list of responsibilities and benefits are not exhaustive.
