3PL Inventory & Systems Assistant - 29k + bonus! British FMCG business is urgently looking for a 3PL Inventory and Systems Assistant to join them to assist the 3PL Manager in proactively coordinating inventory between the brand and its 3PL partners. This role involves working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to optimise stock management processes and systems, ensuring 100% OTIF compliance. You will also assist in creating reports that provide valuable data insights, helping to improve efficiency and inventory accuracy.Responsibilities:Monitor and manage 3PL stock levels, ensuring accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations.Conduct weekly book-to-book reconciliations to verify stock accuracy across systems.Coordinate inventory movements and transfers between locations, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders for smooth operations.Perform weekly stock rotation checks to ensure compliance.Conduct UAT testing for internal system integrations with 3PL systems.Build reports and conduct data analysis. to extract insights that drive process improvements and support strategic inventory decisions.Assist with 3PL stock audits, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Participate in inventory forecasting and planning discussions to align stock levels with anticipated demand, ensuring optimal availability.Serve as a key link between planning, customer supply, and 3PL providers, addressing and resolving any arising issues.You will have previous experience working in data driven / metrics driven inventory management role focusing on outbound stock for 3PLs. Data driven with analytical skills, excellent planning and organising capabilities. This role is working 3 days office, 2 home, with monthly visits to other 3PL premisses.
