CLASS 2 HIAB DRIVERWORKING 5 DAYS OUT OF 7 (ROTA PROVIDED)START TIMES FROM 04.00PAY RATE: 17.00 - 34.00 PER HOURPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Hiab Driver to join our well-established client based in Colchester.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.To be considered for this role you MUST have a minimum of 24 months of continuous driving experience.BenefitsAs a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent Hourly Rates Ongoing Work Weekly Pay On-site Canteen Training Provided Immediate Starts Employee Well-being Program Rates of Pay (PAYE) Basic: 17.00Overtime after 8 hours: 25.50Saturday: 25.50Sunday: 34.00Bank Holiday: 34.00 Day to Day DutiesYour duties as a Class 2 Hiab Driver will involve but not be limited to: Delivering most building materials and home interior improvements products (not bathrooms and kitchens) Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Operating a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential SkillsAs a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will need to: Must be able to work as a team Have a minimum of 24 months continuous experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes HIAB (ALLMI) Qualification Card Must be able to use PDA (personal digital assistant) Hold a valid UK Category C Licence Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficial Training Six-hour online training must be completed before attending assessmentDriver's Assessment will have to be completedAfter successful Assessment, there will be an on-the-job trainingJBRP1_UKTJ
