This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial professional with a self-starter mindset, taking full ownership of the P&L for their traded commodity.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute trading strategies for steel-making raw materials, identifying and expanding new markets across suppliers and buyers.Structure and negotiate trade contracts to optimise commercial outcomes.Manage risk exposure across the full trade cycle, ensuring profitability and financial security.Oversee derivative position management, leveraging deep knowledge of commodity markets.Conduct market analysis to drive business growth and enhance trading performance.Key Requirements:Minimum 7 years of experience as a front-end trader in steel-making raw materials: iron ore, DRI, pig iron, coking coal, thermal coal, met coke, and related commodities, with a strong industry network / transferable book. Proven ability to originate and execute high-value trades.Expertise in risk management and financial exposure mitigation.Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of price trends and market dynamics.Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
