Category ManagerLocation: RemoteHours of work: 37.5Contract Type: PermanentThe Category Manager will lead and manage the vending portfolio, aligning it with both consumer and client insights while driving innovation in areas such as micro markets and smart vending solutions.Job DescriptionThis role is key to delivering retail excellence through a category management approach, ensuring the optimal range of retail packaged goods and sandwiches is available across the business.You will also support brand managers with timely promotional activities and campaigns designed to drive business growth.A critical part of the role involves overseeing the management, execution, and delivery of external brand partnerships.You will ensure ISS remains fully compliant with partner standards and adheres to their brand guidelines while fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships.This is an exciting opportunity to shape retail and vending strategies, drive innovation, and make a meaningful impact on the business and its partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate 'support activation of franchise partner activitiesSupport brand managers with commercial quarterly promotional retail products aligned to submitted briefs and provide in a format defined by brand manageLead supplier relationships within RPG & Sandwiches to ensure best in class and aligned to procurement contractual requirementsEnsure Categories, Ranges and Planograms are fit for purpose within the retail excellence, managing, maintaining and developing in line with segment, brand and consumer needsCreate costing models for vending in support of bids and retentionsCoordinate allocations for retail promotions and creation of planograms/blockagrams across all segments and brands for RPG and Vending solutionsVend SME for new site openings, refurbs and refreshes, mobilisation support 'solutioning guidance, supporting bids & tendersBuild & delivery of Vending Standard Operating Procedures to support business deploymentEnsure Ops performance Vending Product portfolio sharepointis maintained/updatedEnsure ISS initiatives and key initiatives are fully considered e.g. Carbon, Plant based, H&WProfessional and Personal Competencies/QualificationsRetail & Category management experience essentialStrong team playerStrong relationship builderStrong understanding of consumer and market food & beverage trends, retail, digital and social mediaUnderstanding & ability to create commercial models for bids/tendersExperience in project managementExperience of working with multi functionsAbility to work unsupervisedThe CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
