Well look to you to lead our SOC Engineering team, making sure key tech is configured and kept operating at peak potential. Proactively maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT-based threats and vulnerabilities, youll provide valued support to customers, including interpreting a variety of logs and reports. Youll also take pride in mentoring, training and managing our Senior Analyst.Youll identify, investigate and analyse all manner of threats, incidents, anomalies and unexpected activities within the IT systems of FCDO Services and our important customers. Working closely with colleagues across analytical, IT and security teams, youll be at the heart of reporting real time attacks and resolving security incidents. You will make sure the Engineering team is well equipped for incident response and resolution. The technical incident reports you write will keep us and our customers strong for the future.Drive good governance while forging great relationshipsIn this role youll draw on your full and proven cyber security skillset from using a variety of tools to manipulate, analyse, interrogate, interpret and evaluate data, through to managing secure operations. Youll bring the ability to assess threats, detect and analyse intrusions, and deliver effective incident management, investigation and response.
