Project Manager PlymouthA leading, locally based contractor operating within public and private sectors constructing some of the regions most innovative and landmark buildings are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager responsible for Defence contracts.The Project Manager is to provide the critical link between client, Project Team, supply chain and Pre-con team to ensure that all defence projects are delivered to programme whilst achieving all deliverables. Responsibilities:Overseeing a number of projects under one umbrella as part of a framework contractEnsure that all projects are delivered to very high standard and achieve all deliverablesTake full ownership of all aspects of the defence projectsManage supply chain and develop strong relationshipsAbility to liaise and manage both the internal and external project teamsEnsure high levels of Health & Safety and successful delivery of the defence processEnsure Health & Safety is a top priorityKeep up to date with industry changes and legislation that will affect tendersProvide regular feedback to the other members of the teamChair and deliver review meetingsSkills:Ability to complete and obtain any advanced DBS certificateAbility to pass stringent security checksHold a valid UK driving licenceSMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at WorkGood programming skills, Asta and Project an advantageThe company offer a competitive salary and generous benefits package.
