Company Overview You will be joining a well-known Lloyd's of London Insurance Broker as their Claims Handler on a full-time, permanent basis. Based in their modern City of London office 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs), you will have the chance to work from home every Friday. Role Responsibilities In your new role, you will be responsible for the management of claims for the international yacht account. This will include maintaining an effective record of all claims, managing claims payments, liaising with Insurers to ensure they are fully briefed on all claims, liaising with producers and agents when a claim is reported, raising debit notes/invoices/credit notes and managing effective monthly/quarterly reporting to Senior Management (including accurate monthly claims bordereau production). Role Requirements In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have a basic understanding of insurance claims for professional lines, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads/delegate tasks effectively. You will be an ambitious, open-minded and proactive team player with strong communication skills and an outstanding work ethic. You will have self-discipline and a flexible nature, be able to work independently and as part of a team and possess accurate record-keeping skills with the ability to streamline and improve the efficient processing of all claims. In Return You will receive an annual salary of up to 35,000 (depending on experience) + benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
