Maintenance Team Leader(Mechanical Bias)Excellent salary and package including; Pension matched up to 10%, 26.5 days + Stats, Sick Pay, Private Healthcare and moreDays Role (Mon-Fri) A fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader (Mechanical Bias) to join the team at a global manufacturing company at a site in Irvine.Our client is a global leader in the packaging industry with revenues of circa $9 billion. They invest heavily into their manufacturing facilities around the world and are passionate about sustainability and innovation.As Maintenance Team Leader you will co-ordinate activities of the Mechanical and Facilities team ensuring high levels of equipment availability and efficiencies.Responsibilities:Delegate work to the team, ensuring high level of mechanical repair, installation and maintenance of equipment and factory services Work closely with operations teams to respond to breakdowns and maximise performanceMinimise downtime by implementing effective preventative maintenance schedules and inspectionsPlan and record all maintenance work and schedules via CMMS (SAP)Provide hands on technical support to the teamEnsure all equipment is available, order parts and manage critical sparesContractor management; permits, risk assessmentsAssist in planning and management of shutdownsManage time and attendance, holidays, return to works, employee feedback Key Requirements:Qualified Mechanical Engineer (C&G, NVQ 3, HNC)Min 5 years experience of mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environmentMin 2 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor/Team Leader or similarStrong knowledge of mechanical systemsKnowledge/experience of a Computerised Maintenance Management System advantageousExperience of engineering services; water, compressed air.
