You will be responsible for delivering security solutions across the physical environment and embedding strong security behaviours into the organisational culture.Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in physical and personnel security, implementing and maintaining controls that effectively mitigate risks.Ensure that security considerations are integrated into programme design, addressing both current and emerging threats.Provide technical expertise in physical and personnel security, including risk assessment frameworks, industry best practices, and compliance with relevant laws and standards.Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, influencing and driving security outcomes effectively.Plan, conduct, and review internal security audits, identifying non-compliance issues and recommending practical improvements.Lead security investigations into vulnerabilities or procedural failures, using data-driven insights to enhance security measures.Collaborate with security teams, facilities management, third-party contractors, contracting authorities, and government agencies to maintain a robust security posture.Develop and implement operational procedures to strengthen security performance, aligned with the overall security strategy.Identify and report security risks, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance.Stay informed on threat landscapes, security methodologies, and emerging technologies to enhance risk management strategies.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security standards and innovations, ensuring the organisation benefits from best-in-class security solutions.The PersonYou are an experienced security professional with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing security requirements for secure programmes or facilities. You thrive in a collaborative team environment while also being capable of managing and prioritising your own workload. You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator.Experience in designing and implementing physical security infrastructure and procedures (CNI experience preferred).A collaborative and trusted partner who balances security needs with business objectives.A thought leader in security, able to engage and communicate effectively at all levels.Ability to develop and implement security procedures to address performance gaps.Experience in promoting security awareness and training through engaging educational initiatives.Strong discretion, integrity, and confidentiality when handling sensitive security matters.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.Either have relevant Security Clearance or the ability to obtain the required level of security clearance for this role.Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., DISA, Security Institute).Relevant vocational qualifications such as CSMP or ASIS CPP.Our client welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds, however due to the nature of their work, nationality, residency, and security clearance requirements may apply.
