We are seeking an Estimator to join our team of 10 Active/Passive Estimators. This is a full-time, office-based role responsible for providing cost estimates for upcoming projects, analysing supplier and contractor quotes, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure competitive and precise project proposals.Key Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and timely completionPrioritise requests from the estimating requisition sheet based on urgency and project timelinesResearch material, labour, and equipment costs to develop precise estimatesRequest and analyse supplier and contractor quotes to determine cost-effective solutionsReview plans to assess project requirementsCalculate final project budgets and ensure alignment with client requirementsLiaise with internal departments, including Sales and Quantity Surveying (QS), to optimise cost efficiencyShare best practices and technical insights within the estimating teamThe successful candidate will:Previous estimating experience (preferred but not essential)Strong technical knowledge related to passive fire protection is advantageousExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagementExceptional attention to detail with a methodical approach to estimatingStrong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesWhat you will get in return: Ability to purchase additional annual leaveHealthcare schemeRegular company eventsCycle to work schemeCompany reward scheme (vouchers, etc) Ventro Ltd values diversity and promotes equality.
