Our in-house access experts, the Centre for Accessible Environments, provide consultancy, training, research, and publications on building design and management to meet all user needs, including disabled and older people. We welcome applications from every section of the community. About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Repairs Surveyor to join our team. As a Repairs Surveyor, you will be responsible for inspecting, managing, and overseeing the delivery of repairs and maintenance services for our properties. You will play a key role in ensuring that our homes are safe, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards. This will include responsive, cyclical and major repairs to both tenanted and void properties. About You We are looking for an experienced professional who has sound knowledge of building and Health and Safety at work legislation and practices. Youll have previous experience in a customer facing role, ideally within a social housing setting. You will be part a small team and travelling frequently, so time-management and good organisational skills will help you plan out your work. Youll ideally be based in the North Midlands/West Derbyshire with good access to M6. Excellent customer care and communication skills are essential for this role. You will need to be calm in your nature and confident in your practices. You will have a HNC in construction or building, a clean driving license is essential as well as a clear enhanced DBS.
