Supporting Local Authority clients across London and the Southeast - councils, housing associations, education, blue light etc.The Role:Working for a leading compliance business with a true appetite for growth, the successful Operations Manager will be managing the fire safety division reporting in to the overall Divisional Operations Director.Taking full control, the successful Operations Manager will have full operational, commercial and strategic leadership of a business unit worth 17m PA. the bulk of the work carried out will be both Active and Passive Fire maintenance contracts.Experience:As an Operations Manager you will take overall responsibility for the business unit with support from the Operations Director.This is a fast-paced role which requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and will involve:Managing contracts to achieve targets in respect of safety, time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.Managing DLO, sub-contractors and processes to ensure that all works are controlled and delivered within the time frames required and that they meet the minimum standard set by the Clients KPI's.Ensuring an excellent customer experience at all times.See below key skills:Experience in completing construction phase plansClient contract delivery, in, customer relationships and management of relevant teamsP&L, cash flow and costsCreating a work safe cultureAble to manage others to deliver multiple projects at the same timeGood communicator and have experience dealing with clients and subcontractorsMust have good IT skills and be able to use word and outlookAble to produce construction programmes (MS Projects ideally)A flexible, "can do" attitude and want to work as part of a teamAble to produce and deliver progress reportsMust be able to manage the H&S, quality and programme performance on their projects via their management teamThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to see real career progression and is keen to work with a business that is constantly growing and developing.Operations Manager75,000 + PackageLondon / SoutheastActive & Passive Fire Safety
