JOB PURPOSE:To assist with the on-going provision of real estate finance products to the banks existing customer base as well as potential new clients; specifically, to work with the RMs to prepare and outline terms, submissions to respective credit teams (both new proposals and assistance with annual reviews), all aspects of documentation and due diligence and on-going monitoring, including periodic KYC reviews.Undertake any planning & administrative duties to support the UK Private Banking teamThis client facing role is the first line of defense and plays an important role in the prevention and detection of Financial Crime.Key Accountabilities:The role holder is accountable for ensuring full CDD in accordance with the banks financial crime framework and standards and must build positive relationships with the KYC, MLRO and Compliance teams to achieve this.Specific AccountabilityTo attend to walk-in clients at the branch, ensuring exceptional levels of customer service at all times, meeting the banks expectations in terms of efficiency, accuracy, timeliness and professionalismTo support the Private Banking team in respect of all real estate finance.Attending client meetings and site visits to discuss and formulate client loan facility applications and on-going client relationships.To act as key point of contact with the Banks external professional advisors (solicitors, valuers etc.) to establish and progress customers facility requirements. This will include close liaison with Group LegalTo assist with the preparation of all credit applications for all real estate finance transactions including any interim covenant exception requests.To oversee and assist with the preparation of all facility letters to customers following receipt of credit approval.Supporting the RMs for client KYC reviews preparation and analysis of client mandate files and following up with RMs until the client file is approved.Ensure strict compliance with the FAB UK Financial Crime Framework in relation to customer contact and investigationsBe proactive to client needs and address and resolve client issuesEnsure that correspondence generated to customers is of consistently high quality and accuracy, meeting all FAB guidelinesPrepare presentations and supporting papers to support the Private Banking teamTimely reporting of transactions as required by AML policy and Bank proceduresIn all tasks undertaken, minimise operational losses and errorsAll transactions are to be processed in accordance with policies, procedures and other governing rules.To produce high levels of accuracy when dealing with sensitive client data, completing all work to expected standardsEnsure all processes in the department are kept up to date to cover all core functions of the department, with guidance from the Client Service Manager and VP, Head of Private Banking Client Services.Qualifications & Experience:Previous Private Banking Client Service experience / branch banking experienceKnowledge and experience on processing credit appraisals and reviews for real estate financingRelevant Product and Security Documentation knowledgeStrong credit, numerical, analytical, and presentational skillsKnowledge of Retail banking and operations processingArabic Language Skills are required due to the nature of client interactionsExcellent client service skillsGood communication skillsKnowledge of Arabic will be a differentiatorPlanning and administration skillsGood MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPointProactive and solution orientedStrong work ethic and high levels of integrityAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesAttention to detail and high levels of accuracy in deliveryGood team player and ability to work in small and large teamsOptional opportunity for CeMap exams to be completed in the first year which would be beneficial for future career growth within FAB UK Private Banking.
