We organise lots of events every year and in this role, youll handle event bookings, enquires and all things event admin. Plus the role also, includes some general admin support across the business. Were looking for someone that has excellent communications and organisation skills, the ability to multitask across several events and passionate about admin.Were looking for a good communicator, someone well organised with the ability to multitask and loves admin. If yes, please send your CV, current salary details along with a short introduction to yourself and highlight key experience for the role by email to clofthouse@nof.co.uk on or before Tuesday 25th February 2025 (12 noon).Please note, were expecting a big response to our job advert therefore, well only be replying to applicants invited for interview.Job DescriptionJob Title:Business Administrator (Events)Reports To:Head of CommercialJob Purpose: Main priority is to provide administrative support to the events team Provide ad-hoc day-to-day general office administrative supportMain Duties and Responsibilities Events Main point of contact for all event queries including delegate bookings and exhibition stands Attend regional and UK events to support with set up and dismantle Undertake all the events administrative tasks including:oLog online and offline bookings oSet up/update event booking system and websiteoUpdate mailing lists on CRM, process unsubscribes and issue e-flyersoCreate event delegate lists & print badgesoCollate event freight and undertake stock checkoLiaise with third parties such as suppliers to obtain quotesoPost event actions such as issuing post event email, tidying freight boxes, updating CRMOffice and Administrative SupportSupport the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks such as meeting room set up, stock checks etc. Data input to CRMKeep the office clean and tidyWelcome visitors Answer the phoneOther Duties: Act as Ambassador for NOFProactively contribute to internal planning meetings, staff updates etc.Active use of social media channels including LinkedIn to promote NOF events and services Build relationships and network with members, partners, and stakeholdersIdentify and assist in the recruitment of new members and partners, supporting the Membership and Business Development teamsProactively identify member good news stories and case studies that can be used for publicityTime allocated to provide support to the Energi Coast Cluster (owned and operated by NOF)Perform any duties commensurate with the position as requiredKnowledge & Skills RequiredMaths & English GCSE or equivalent Attention to detail, ability to proof own work and ensure a high level of quality at all timesGood Customer Service skills with a friendly and professional telephone mannerExcellent organisational and communication skills, both written and oralAble to operate over several projects and meet deadlinesIT literate with experience of using a CRM, Microsoft applications including excel, PowerPoint and wordExperience of working on online platforms such as LinkedIn, Teams and ZoomKnowledge of GDPR and importance of data confidentiality Able to handle a busy and varied workloadEducation & ExperienceExperience of working in a fast-paced office environment Experience in an administrative / customer service / events or business support roleOther AttributesMust have a professional manner and attitudeBe a team playerAble to confidently communicate and networkMust be willing to learn, adapt to change, undertake training and personal development where required Self-motivated and confident and able to work as part of a small team and on own initiativeCar owner, full UK drivers licence and willing to travel if required
