Quantity SurveyorBased in Lisburn my client is a market leading manufacturer to the construction industry who are leaders in their field. They work in a variety of fields including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education. At the moment they are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor who holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar relevant qualification with preferably 5+ years construction experience though lesser experienced candidates might also be considered. Salary is up to 58,000, 33 holidays, large pension, life assurance, early finish on Fridays and travel to site is approximately 1 day per month.Role: Quantity SurveyorTo be responsible for preparing and submitting interim valuations for projects monthly to ensure positive cash flow throughout projects.To provide assistance, support and guidance on commercial issues and developing a culture of contractual awareness in project teamsTo be responsible for the preparation of interim valuations/ applications for payment including negotiating project final accountsProduce internal cost/ value reportsAdministrate subcontractor/supplier accounts, including the monitoring and processing of payments and settlement of final accountsPreparation of technical estimatesTo review and assist with the administration of subcontracts for each project.Entering budgets and costings on the company's management information software systemResponsible for logging and recording Contracts / Bonds / Insurances / Retentions / CollateralFor a confidential conversation regarding thisQuantity Surveyor job contact James Coulter.
