Our client specialises in Experiential Design, Production and Installation for exhibition stands, product launches and bespoke sampling stands, PR stunts, sampling bins and giant props.Based near the borders of Essex and Hertfordshire, within easy reach of London, they currently have a vacancy to work within their production team. As Assistant Workshop Manager your main responsibility will be to support in all aspects of the production build. This is a hands-on role with tasks which could include: prop making, CAD drawing, carpentry, metalworking, head rigger, spray painting, scenic finishes, paint management, general production build, CAD interpretation, CNC & Laser cutter operation, vinyling, installation crewing, lead carpenter, sanding, filling & finishing.Skills and Experience needed from the Assistant Workshop Manager:Carpentry & construction to include set build and props, scenic and spray painting and sewingGood time keeping and communication skillsProactive with an enthusiastic, self-motivated and positive dispositionStrong organisational skills along with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlinesDriving licenceIn return they are offering a salary of between 28k and 35k, plus BUPA and pension and lots of training and career progression opportunities.JBRP1_UKTJ
