No High St retail or domesticJOB PURPOSEDue to several large projects wins they are looking to expand the business and they are now looking for a Remedial Electrician in the South West Region of Scotland.The ideal candidate will be willing to travel from Glasgow to Carlisle.You will have the ability to work as part of a team to carry out Electrical Remedial Works for a range of clients.You should possess a good working knowledge of current electrical legislation, regulations and standards and have a proven track record of working in 24-hour operational environments.The role requires a person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good IT skills would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided to produce legible, accurate and concise reports.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESExtensive knowledge of single and three phase fault finding and 1st time fixes.Good sound electrical knowledge, for testing and installation worksExtensive knowledge of single and three phase fault finding and 1st time fixesTo carry out electrical repairs / minor works on variety types of LV installationsTo assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasksTo liaise with the Remedials/Operations Supervisor for planned and routine maintenance programme and reporting proceduresTo maintain records of all work, and that required paperwork is completed and sent in within the defined timescalesQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCEElectrical Installation (NVQ Level 3 / 236)Commercial/Industrial ExperienceC&G QualificationsAM2,IPAF,PASMA (desirable)18th EditionTest and Inspection 2391 PreferredFull UK driving licenceSALARY & BENEFITSOur client are offering a salary of 42,000 - 46,000, door to door travel + overtimeHolidays 30 days including Bank holidaysHours of Work 45 hours a week.Company vehicle A suitable company car is provided for business use.
