Hinkley Point C is seeking a Governance and Learning Manager to lead and shape the implementation of our Integrated Management System (IMS) strategy, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and continuous improvement. About the Role As the Governance and Learning Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our client's New Nuclear IMS strategy is understood and effectively implemented, meeting both client and statutory requirements. You will support the Quality Lead by developing procedures, delivering training, fostering a strong Nuclear Safety Culture, and leading lessons learned initiatives to drive improvements in quality systems. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership for the Governance and Learning team. Work with internal teams to develop processes and close gaps in the IMS. Introduce and maintain an IMS Governance Procedure tailored to the client's needs. Plan and oversee the internal audit schedule, ensuring timely action closure. Report on KPIs and support the preparation of Quality Management Reviews. Coordinate quarterly IMS feedback sessions with the Senior Leadership Team. Lead the implementation of lessons learned and best practices into the IMS. Act as the Nuclear Safety Culture Representative for the client. Deliver inductions for new employees and ongoing training for staff on quality and Nuclear Safety Culture. What We're Looking For A qualification in a relevant discipline (MSc, BSc, or equivalent experience). Knowledge of UK and international standards and codes of practice in the nuclear sector. Professional accreditation (CQI, IRCA, or equivalent). Lead Auditor or Assessor qualification (ISO 9001:2015 standard). Desirable Qualifications A proven track record on large-scale projects in the nuclear or similar regulated sectors, including major EPC projects. Experience in implementing and maintaining Integrated Management Systems (IMS). Team leadership and mentoring experience. Expertise in delivering training on Quality Systems and fostering a strong Nuclear Safety Culture.
