This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise. You'll play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, ensuring equipment runs smoothly, and working closely with the wider team to minimise downtime. If you have experience in food manufacturing or FMCG, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities Planned & Reactive Maintenance Ensure production equipment operates efficiently and safely. Troubleshooting & Repairs Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault-finding and maintenance. Collaboration Work alongside with production teams to minimise downtime and optimise performance. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to enhance reliability and efficiency. Compliance & Safety Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, GMP, and food hygiene . What We're Looking For Apprentice-trained Engineer, ideally from a food manufacturing or FMCG background. Electrically biased but with strong mechanical skills. Recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
