We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Locum Consultant in Community Paediatrics to join a multidisciplinary team in Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of children and young people, providing expert care in a community-based setting. This locum contract offers a flexible duration of 12-24 months , with a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week, across 10 sessions . There is also the potential for a substantive post once you achieve Specialist Registration. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and young people with a wide variety of health conditions. Develop and implement care plans, ensuring appropriate interventions and follow-up. Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, and social workers. Contribute to the development and delivery of community paediatric services. Offer guidance, training, and support to junior medical staff and other team members. Work closely with families and carers, promoting early intervention and preventative care. Participate in audits, clinical governance, and research activities. Essential Qualifications & Experience: GMC registration with a license to practice.
